Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) conducted a raid at the house of a government teacher in Shivpuri on Wednesday.
The operation took place in Shivpuri's Bhonti area early in the morning, with officials searching the property for evidence related to the case.
According to the information, the action was taken after a complaint was filed against the teacher, Suresh Singh Bhadoriya. He is a government teacher working in Kedar village. The complaint alleged that Bhadoriya owns assets and wealth that are much more than what he should have based on his income.
The raid was conducted early in the morning, around 6 AM, when the teacher and his family were still asleep. A team from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), led by Inspector Jai Singh Yadav from Gwalior, arrived at the house and started the search operation.
The complaint was filed by Shivam Gupta, a resident of Bhonti town. He claimed that Bhadoriya had accumulated wealth that did not match his known sources of income.
Following this complaint, the EOW decided to take action and investigate the matter.

A team led by EOW Gwalior Inspector Jai Singh Yadav reached the house early in the morning and started the search operation. The officials are thoroughly examining various documents to gather evidence related to the case.
At present, the EOW team is inside the house, carefully checking financial records, bank account details, and property-related documents.
They are verifying whether the assets match the teacher’s known sources of income. So far, no official statement has been issued by the authorities, and the investigation is still in progress.
Teacher's background
The teacher Suresh Singh Bhadoriya is originally from Bhind district. Years ago, he settled in Bhonti. He is considered close to senior leader KP Singh Kakkaju from Pichhore.
Before becoming a teacher, Bhadoriya used to run a ration shop and later got involved in land purchasing. Reports suggest that more than half a dozen FIRs, including cases under the Harijan Act, have been registered against him.
Bhadoriya had also taken possession of the land belonging to the Bhonti police station, claiming it as his own. He even filed a case in court, but he lost the case just a month ago. Now, the administration is preparing to remove the encroachment from the land.
