Yamaha has achieved a significant milestone with the production of over 1 million units of the R15 at its Surajpur plant, reaffirming its commitment to global manufacturing standards and India’s growing premium motorcycle market. With more than 90% of these units sold domestically, Yamaha has prioritized Indian customers while also expanding its export footprint. Over the past 16 years, the R15 has established itself as a gateway to high-performance motorcycling, offering enthusiasts a blend of track-inspired design and everyday practicality.
